Claire House Way
the Project
We were kept very busy in 2018 with our Claire House project based in Barnard Castle. The original buildings dated back to 1813 when it was built as a hospital. Over the years it had many uses, most recently owned by Durham County Council.
We took on the task of stripping back the building to its original glory and converting it into six individual homes. We added two new build properties that compliment the original buildings, where an office prefab once sat.
